Senior Expert – Cybersecurity Governance & Capacity Building | Short-Term Assignments | North Africa & Middle East
COMVEX is looking for senior cybersecurity experts available for short-term advisory assignments on national cybersecurity governance across North Africa and the Middle East.
What you would do : Advise governments on national cybersecurity strategies and regulations. Support alignment with international standards and frameworks (NIS2, NIST, ISO 27001). Assess and strengthen national CSIRTs/CERTs, including organisation, processes, incident response and information sharing. Deliver training, tabletop exercises and contribute to cyber diplomacy activities.
Your profile : Master’s degree in information security, computer science or a related field. CISSP, CISM or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer certification is an asset. 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, including strategy, governance or CSIRT/CERT management. Experience working with national agencies (e.g. DGSSI/maCERT, ANCS or foreign agencies) or advising them. Experience in the MENA region. Fluency in English, French and/or Arabic is an asset.
Assignments : Short-term missions ranging from a few days to several weeks over a 24-month period, remotely or on-site, on a consultancy basis.
